The Worst January Since 1974...

... well isn't that just great.

The snow piles are taller than me, my legs are popsicles and my patience has run out with this snow.  As I was shoveling the drive way, I had to stand and ponder for a few minutes, I couldn't figure out where I was going to put the snow.  There's so much, I don't have any more room in my yard.  It's insane.

Lets not even start with the topic of having to pee while shoveling and then having to take off your boots 3 times.  What a pain in the ass.  Flipping water.

I ended up eating supper at 8pm tonight.  Way later than I normally like to eat, but with all the shoveling, there was no avoiding it.  I'm extremely full.  I can't imagine binging on this plan.  I'd explode immediately.

Why is it so hot out?

Don't I live in Canada? How is my igloo supposed to survive this weather? Where am I supposed to put my snow dogs? They're warm.

I absolutely hate the heat... I'm melting up a storm... I'm just glad I'm not at work, melting in those hot booths, that's the only thing that could be worse than having just hot weather. Well, a tornado would be worse too. But aside from a tornado, being in a booth.

In other news - I am not going to Chicago, we're doing a phone interview instead, good thing b/c I have no money. Guess I should be melting in a booth instead of complaining about having no money, but oh well.

Ok so two days done and I'm exhausted and I totally hate these stupid APT classes. They're all touchy feely - "we're on a journey together" blah blah blah gag gag gag. And we have all these assignments that are worth no marks. I have no problem doing assignments when they count for something, but she's just making stuff up for us to do spur of the moment. Today for example, the video she brought about lab safety didn't work so now we have to do a skit on lab safety on friday, for NO MARKS. Total bull. The people in the class are all really nice but I never really say anything so I think they think I'm weird but actually I'm just shy. So there you go.

When we introduced ourselves we had to say why we went into education and most people were like "I love kids, I want to help kids, it will make me happy" blah blah - lies.

I of course told them that after my bachelor of science I
really had nothing else planned so it seemed like something to do. Of course I do enjoy education - well the teaching part - the being at the university makes my head want to explode.

I have also started taking naps and I have to say that I am please with how it's working out.

Today is supposed to be a blizzard but I currently don't see one happening. I hope there is one and all public transportation stops and the University is closed down because I really want to sleep in tomorrow.
