Well it was my birthday on Friday - the big 28. I always find it to be bittersweet. It's kind of like the feeling you get at New Year's when you realize you're still fat and didn't lose any weight. I don't make New Year's resolutions, but I pretty much psych myself up that next year I'll be skinny on my birthday.
The pants on the left are the pants I am currently wearing. I hate them. They're a size 22, and I hate everything about them. The way they fit, the color, the size, the way they look.
The pants on the right are my goal pants. They fit me 10 years ago. They're my lucky pants. A lot of things went downhill after those jeans stopped fitting. I know I've said it before. But this year is going to be different. I'm dedicated to losing this weight. And on November 19, 2011; I will be posting a picture of me wearing those jeans. They're not even stretch jeans, they regular, before I was fat, real denim jeans. With a butterfly patch covering a hole in the knee caused by a rollerblading accident, yup, from exercise.

Happy Birthday (in advance) Fellow Sag my birthday is on Thursday and it will make me 27. I know exactly how you feel. I am 202 and I wanted to be under 200lbs for my birthday but it doesn't look like that will happen. It has been 2years( maybe three)since I weighed under 200lbs. I feel a little bit disappointed but I am trying to look at the bright side. Next year though we will be skinny for our birthdays deal???...lol
Happy Birthday! I have a pair of jeans just like the ones on the left in your pic. The ones I am wearing now. They don't fit right, they are always falling down (but the next size down is way too tight) and are baggy in the butt and thighs. UGH. I don't have a pair of pre-fat jeans but I can't wait to "grow out" of my current pair! Keep up the good work!
I am proof that it can be done!! I love the fact that you lined your current and goal jeans side by side. Small, attainable goals is what it's all about. I weighed over 200 pounds for ten years! It is an awesome feeling watching the scale move away from that number so I keep working! I am cheering for you all the way!!
Stephanie, I know that you can do it. I know that next year you'll be in those jeans doing the jig.
Keep up with Allan's challenges and we'll both be wearing a size 10, though I'd be happy in a 16 with no stretch. Close, so close.
Keep up the great work. I'll be back to check on you.
Take care and have a blessed afternoon.
